    PLT 65 UV

PLT 65 UV INK TECHNICAL DATA SHEET

    APPLICATIONS
To be used printing on rigid PVC, abs, san, copolymers, polyamide, polycarbonate, mat polystyrene, glossy polystyrene, soft PVC, acrilic glass (casted PMMA), duroplast, glass, ceramics, coated surfaces, PET-A, treated PE, no treated PP, no treated polystyrene.

    FEATURES
    Acrylic based ink.

Mono and bi-component ink glossy appearance and excellent resistance. Flexible, resistant to alcohol and gasoline, to perspiration of the hands, to light, abrasion, heat, water and atmospheric agents.

Non-toxic ink (NT) in compliance with European standard EN 71 / part 3 and with the 2011/65/EC European Directive (RoHS 2).

    PROCESSING

To increase mechanical and chemical resistance or adhesion to the substrate, the ink can be used as a two-component by adding the appropriate catalyst PL-GL500 in the 5% quantity. Mix and strongly dilute the ink by using the PL017 thinner in the measure of max. 15-30%.

    CAUTION!

Excessive dilution generates a loss of opacity, smudges and an imperfect detachment of the ink from the pad. Poor dilution generates problems in drawing the ink out of the cliché, repetitiveness of printing and spinning of the ink itself with consequent expiry of the print quality. The ink used as a bicomponent should be consumed within 8-9 hours, after which it gradually loses its mechanical-chemical resistance and its ability to adhere to the substrate.

    DRYING AND HARDENING

Drying with UV equipment between 1000 and 2000 mj / cm2.
